Sam

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Samuel Hong is a Youth Pastor serving at TCCC. He is a passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word while discipling young believers in their personal relationships with Christ.

His heart for God’s people and for ministry was first ignited in 2011 while he was working in summer camps with youth and children from various backgrounds. After graduating with a Bachelors of Medical Sciences from Western University, and a Bachelors of Education from the University of Toronto (OISE), Samuel started his career as a high school teacher. During this time, he also discovered his calling for full-time pastoral ministry and later attained his Masters in Divinity with a focus on Youth and Family Ministry from Tyndale Seminary.

Samuel has been serving in full-time ministry since 2016. He is also married to his wife Hayley, who is equally passionate about youth ministry. He loves stand-up paddle boarding, creative writing, and discovering new coffee shops.
